Evan Weinberg, 2025 @emwdx https://evanweinberg.com The concept of a purely binary palette led me to consider other elements to generate contrast on a digital canvas. The absence of gray becomes the foundation for play between geometric and organic forms. Sharp-edged shapes intersect with curvilinear patterns. Polygons, lines, and ordered mathematical curves dissolve into the fluidity of chaotic movement that maps out hidden spaces of the canvas. This involves the animation of random particles steering themselves around a hidden canvas containing paths for the particles to follow. Then the canvas undergoes random subdivision and draws figures within those grid squares based on the paths of the hidden canvas. The five sliders control the color of the background, the driving style of the particles, the origin points for their movement, the hidden paths they follow, and the level of subdivision of the canvas. Saving options: *Press 'p' to save a PNG of the canvas. *Press 's' to save a plottable SVG of the canvas.
